Testosterone and Human Growth Hormone

Testosterone

What is Testosterone?

Testosterone is a hormone that is produced primarily in the testicles for men and the ovaries and adrenal glands for women. This hormone is essential to the development of male growth and masculine characteristics.

Testosterone production increases about 30 times more during adolescence and early adulthood. After early adulthood, it is natural for levels to drop slightly each year. The body’s testosterone levels may start experiencing a gradual decline after reaching 30 years old. Some symptoms such as decreased muscle mass, increased body fat, or erectile dysfunction may be experienced during this time.

Benefits of having an optimum Testosterone level

More Muscle, Less Fat

More Muscle, Less Fat

Testosterone is responsible for increased muscle mass. Leaner body mass helps control weight and increases energy. For men with low testosterone, studies show that treatment can decrease fat mass and increase muscle size and strength.

Stronger Bones

Stronger Bones

Bone density decreases as men age and testosterone levels drop. This raises the risk of weak bones and osteoporosis.

Testosterone plays a huge role in bone mineral density.

Strong bones help support the muscles and internal organs. Research shows that bone density increases with testosterone treatment. It is also found to increase spine and hip bone density.

Healthy Heart and Blood

Healthy Heart and Blood

Low testosterone levels are linked to a variety of cardiovascular risks. Testosterone helps red blood cell production through the bone marrow. It lowers the cholesterol and total glyceride levels. This makes the heart’s condition at its best which in turn provides muscles and organs with the oxygen needed for peak performance.

A medical study of 83,000 men found that those whose testosterone levels are optimal were 24 percent less likely to have a heart attack and 36 percent less likely to experience a stroke.*

Better Mental Focus, Verbal Memory and Logical Reasoning

Better Mental Focus, Verbal Memory and Logical Reasoning

Recent medical studies shows evidence for a strong correlation between testosterone and thinking abilities such as mental focus, verbal memory and faster processing speed.

Research also shows that men with optimum level of testosterone have a reduced incidence of Alzheimer’s disease.

Improved Mood

Improved Mood

Lower testosterone levels are associated with poorer quality of life. Some of the symptoms of low testosterone levels include depression, fatigue, and irritability.

Studies show that men with optimum level of testosterone have improved mood and well-being, as well as reduced fatigue and irritability. Research suggests that this treatment may also be an effective anti-depressant treatment.

Better Libido

Better Libido

Testosterone levels naturally rise in response to sexual arousal and activity. Men with higher levels of testosterone usually have greater sexual activity.

Studies show that testosterone therapy can benefit your sexual health and performance.

Kinds of Testosterone

There are many ways to administer testosterone, depending on its kind. The most commonly prescribed methods are testosterone injection and bioidentical testosterone cream / gel.

Bioidentical Testosterone Cream / Gel

Bioidentical Testosterone Cream

Creams and gels are one of the most popular ways to administer testosterone. It is applied to the skin and is very easy to use without the need to physically come to the clinic weekly or often.
The benefits of using gels or creams are:

  • Lesser side effect than synthetic hormones
  • Promotes a stable blood level
  • Through absorption through the skin, testosterone levels mimic the body's own production

Testosterone Shots (Injection)

Testosterone Shots (Injection)

Testosterone injection is another commonly prescribed treatment for low testosterone. This is because of its ability to provide predictable and stable levels of blood testosterone.
The advantages of using injection are:

  • Directly enters the bloodstream, minimizing absorption loss
  • No possibility of metastasis to other parts
  • Provides a stable and predictable level of testosterone
What is HGH?

What is HGH?

Human Growth Hormone (HGH), also known as GH is a small protein that is made by the pituitary gland and secreted into the bloodstream.

GH production is controlled by a complex set of hormones produced in the hypothalamus of the brain.

Benefits of Human Growth Hormone

Benefits of Human Growth Hormone

HGH is available as a prescription drug that is administered by injection. HGH is an approved treatment for adult GH deficiency. Adults with proven GH deficiencies benefit from GH injections. They enjoy stronger bone density, increased muscle mass,

improved exercise capacity, neuro-protection, and a reduced risk of future heart disease. HGH also promotes fatty acid oxidation which results to slimming and lowers cholesterol and total glyceride levels. Adults who are GH deficient also get larger muscles, more energy, and improved physical strength from replacement therapy.
